No 1 Canal Place is a heritage building conversion on the Leeds and Liverpool canal and sees a further collaboration with King & Co. The building had previously been occupied by the same company for over twenty five years and was in need of a complete update. The brief was set to create modern functional and stylish office space, whilst still celebrating the buildings history and qualities. The property was carefully stripped back to expose the original structure, showcasing red brick walls, cast iron beams and chunky timber trusses. This was combined with a simple yet contemporary approach to the interior design ensuring the qualities associated with modern office interiors was maintained.
