Commissioned by Shine Business Centre( formerly The Camberwell Group), Shine is a thriving business and conference facility within the community of Harehills in Leeds. The project was funded from the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) and ERDF, and received huge support from Leeds City Council. Shine was established as a Community Interest Company, which ensures that ownership and profits get transferred into the community. Formerly Harehills Middle School, the Grade II Listed building lent itself perfectly for the sensitive refurbishment, with classrooms becoming offices and meeting rooms, and the central school hall becoming the entrance and first floor café. www.shinebusinesscentre.co.uk
